The Deputy Doodle show is a live interactive kid's entertainment show in which children participate in songs, learn how to draw cartoons and have fun with Deputy Doodle's puppet-pal, Billy the Kidder. Shows run for about 45 minutes of live entertainment and afterwards Larry creates unique personalized art for each child to take home as a memento.
Larry Smith has been performing the Deputy Doodle Show for over 18 years, delighting children and adults alike with his humour, artistic abilities and wonderful imagination. In the show, Larry interacts with the children and teaches them how to bring their imagination to life through easy cartooning techniques.
Deputy Doodle sings songs with the kids, tells stories with live-cartooning, has the group interact with his puppet-pal, Billy the Kidder, and swears them all in as "Junior Deputies". After the main show no child is feeling left out. Larry sits with each one and creates a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art using their name for them to take home.
Larry has been performing the show for the Hamilton Moose Lodge and McMaster University for some time now and has been a huge hit. He also performs for private kids parties and even for comedy clubs. Deputy Doodle is a unique character that Larry as created to show kids that everyone has the ability to make their imagination come to life through art.

Larry always swears in the kids as Junior Deputies with the Deputy Doodle Promise:
